Portfolio Site: work in progress, please bear with me while I whip it into shape- this site seems to have trouble publishing punctuation, so I apologise also for any terrible omissions or additions in the meantime... :)
A selection of some of the materials I produced for clients at Stirling University and the University of Cambridge.
A template I produced for potential Business clients, this required a more eye-catching approach in order to stand out from the rest. Metallic silver was added as an additional spot ink (numbers were silver at 50%) and the publication was a concertina fold.
The brief was to design and produce a learning pack, Caring for People with Dementia in Acute Care Settings aimed at nurse practitioners and care providers. I chose to include as many photographs as possible to underscore the need to see the individuals affected and their humanity and personality. The layout was designed to utilise space and a limited palette (the two Pantone inks used by the brand guidelines) to aid clarity and convey an impression of calmness.
Sample layout.
A different brochure was produced annually for each country where we had client Centres, to accompany the awards ceremonies for the highest achievers in the examinations of that year.
I produced not only the template, but also a guide to using it, as many hours had been spent trying to fathom and re-use old layouts to put the new data into. This template allowed the importing of financial data directly from the Word/Excel documents produced by the Finance Department. Boring but important!
